Why no update for High Sierra?

Why has there been no update for wineskin yet to support high Sierra? I play spades at safe harbor spades and have been unable to play since updating the os

+1

Accouding to an Apple tech we talked to, Apple will be removing ALL support for 32bit applications sometime in early 2018 in High Sierra. Those of us who have released wrapped apps will be SOL w/o options but to move to another wine application wrapping platform.

i just uncheck the auto detect gpu for direct 3D option, and still doesnt work, please help me guyys!

Why can't I find "set screen options"?

If they kill all 32 bit support, then that will pretty much kill Wine.  Even upgrading this to 64 bit will not let you run 32 bit Windows programs, which is the vast majority of programs people want Wine for.

If unchecking the GPU detect option doesn't allow your wrapper to launch, you need to tell specifically what its doing, because you may not be having a High Sierra issue at that point.

I have found a few programs that I cannot get running in High Sierra, which seems to be graphics driver related issues, which I haven't been able to fix as well.

I can't get anything in my wrappers to open, not even to view logs.  I have a feeling wineskin is dead for high sierra.  I might try rebuilding the wrappers, but seems like a moot attempt.

Saying its "dead" is a little much... I have run wrapprs in High Sierra, and so have others.  Its often happend with any OS upgrade that some other change will stop certain Windows programs from functioning as they did before though.

I don't have time for Wineskin much anymore... I'm in the process of setting stuff up so I can get some others to help keep Wineskin going and improvements added.

Unchecking 'Auto detect GPU info for Direct3D' does nothing for my wrapper. Absolutely nothing. I also tried upping the RAM to 2048MB for the wrapper, still nothing whatsoever.

The problem: the window 'title bar' and the window side 'handles' simply are not showing. The wrappe launches (on most High Sierra machines) but does not show a window 'title bar' nor window 'side bars' — or 'bottom bar ' — for lack of better names.

On two user's machines the wrapped app launched, but only showed the macOS menu bar for the app and nothing else.

On two other user's machines, the wrapped app worked perfectly fine w/o any issues whatsoever. On my own High Sierra on a MBP I experience the 'no title bar, no side handles'. Same wrapper workes w/o problems on Mac OS X 10.6 through 10.12.

To temporarily 'fix' the issue I can uncheck 'Decorate Windows'. This allows the wrapper to work, but looks like crapp.

The fix that doh suggested is the one that repair the known High Sierra bug. If it didn't work for you, then you have a different problem; however her suggestion work for most people.

Did you tried to install XQuartz or to use Mac Driver instead?

Those are just workaround suggestions, but I really don't understand why you are having that problem. I'm using High Sierra, and my X11 games work just fine, even in my computer which does not have XQuartz.

My wrapper works just fine on Mac OS X 10.6 through macOS 10.12. No problems at all.

We have over 200 users and very little support calls in the years since release. Now with HS virtually everyone that upgrades to HS is calling for an update.

So what is the solution to this problem?

I was currently running MT4 via wineskin until the update came along!

I also experienced problem the printer is not working on High Sierra. Anyone could help?
