Hide cursor

Hi everyone,

I am playing Call of Duty World at War and while I am playing my macbook cursor stays in the middle of the screen and it is very frustrating. How can I hide the cursor that stays in the middle of the screen?

Thanks in advance. biggrin

This WineHQ AppDB result(https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=33147&iTestingId=93929) says that running the app in fullscreen mode if you're not using a virtual desktop will cause the mouse to stay on the screen. Have you tried running in virtual desktop mode?

If that doesn't work, or if you'd rather not use VD, you could try turning on "Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows" under Advanced->Config Utility (winecfg)->Graphics tab. If that doesn't work I would then try playing with "mwo" settings in Winetricks. MouseWarpOverride can cause some problems with the mouse, and can also cause the mouse to be far more sensitive in a Windows program running via Wine than your mouse is natively. There's also this ollllld post on ubuntuforums(https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1603263) where someone made a comment saying that you can change the MWO settings for a specific program by executable name; IDK if this is still possible as I've not yet even looked into it, so if you want to try it please do make sure to research it first.
