Rollcage extreme crash when exiting race

Hi all,
I'm trying to get ===Rollcage Extreme===(external link) to work well under wineskin. I'm hitting one of 2 annoying issues depending of whether I use windowed or fullscreen mode. In "Set screen options":

  • In rootless+normal windows, the rendered output flickers at 30Hz (I think) between what is actually supposed to be on display, and what looks like the first rendered frame after the window was activated - meaning, the "static" frame is initially black, but will change to whatever's on the screen after switch to another application and back with cmd+tab (this seems to require Auto detect GPU info for Direct 3D and Use Mac driver instead of X11 being both enabled to work)
  • Fullscreen (set to emulate 1024x786) appears the work the same as rootless+normal windows
  • With rootless + Virtual Desktop (Use Mac driver instead of X11 must now be disabled for this to work correctly), the flickering goes away, and everything seems to run fine until the game wants to return from race to menu, at which point it gets an error from X and exits.

I've also tested the game in a winebottler-generated bundle (seems to be using wine-1.8) - that still seems to flicker in fullscreen upon launch, cmd+tab works and after switching back, the flicker is gone. After leaving the race, the game goes crazy for a while, and usually reappears as a borderless window. :-/
